On April 1, 1973 Mr. Robert S. Kirkpatrick, Sr. opened the doors of Kirkpatrick Management Company (KMC) with the belief that providing excellent customer service with a personal touch would create a successful business. Over four decades later that belief has contributed to KMC growing from a three customer company to a portfolio that includes over 250 customers.
With the corporate headquarters located in Indianapolis, the company has expanded with offices in Greenwood, IN, Detroit, MI, Lexington, KY and operates in five (5) mid-western states. Key to the successful growth of the company is the continued commitment to providing excellent customer service with a personal touch.
Realizing that an educated employee base is essential to the success of any business; Kirkpatrick Management Company (KMC) is an active member of Community Association Institute (CAI), Midwest Association of Housing Cooperatives (MAHC) , National Association of Housing Cooperatives (NAHC), and Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA), Indiana Apartment Association (IAA), Property Management Association of Western Michigan (PMAWM), and United Condominium Owners of Michigan (UCOM). In addition to attending classes conducted by our affiliates, Kirkpatrick Management Company (KMC) employees are teachers and certified instructors. Kirkpatrick Management Company (KMC) also provides specific classes for our employees to keep them abreast of issues facing the association management industry.
